Climate:
• Thrives in regions with annual rainfall ranging from 700 to 4500 mm.
• Grows at elevations from sea level up to 1700 meters, with an optimal range of 700 to 1500 meters.
• Prefers temperatures between 10°C and 32°C but can tolerate temperatures up to 38°C.
Soil:
• Prefers well-drained soils, from sandy loam to clay loam.
• Optimal soil pH is between 6 and 7.
Plantation Types:
• Commonly grown in block plantations and for boundary planting.
Spacing:
• Ideal spacing is 5x5 meters, though 3x3 meters has also proven effective in some plantations.
